According to an anchent ladin legend, the King of Fanes, put a precious crown on the head of Princess Dolasilla, crowning her after numerous and successful battles. It is possible that the same name comes from “Corones”, word used in ladin to indicate the "crown".
The highest peak of the Kronplatz, at 2.275 mt., is the starting point of 116 km of hiking tours and slopes through the woods of conifers, which offers an exceptional range in terms of difficulty, length and landscape variety. Easy slopes such as the Miara (at 50 mt. from our apartments), are alternatively followed by the well-known slopes of the Erta, the Pre da Peres and the Silvester with the possibility of skiing at night on the Cianross.
A unique offer not limited to ski. In fact, in San Vigilio di Marebbe, you can find sleigh track, an ice-rink, numerous km signed for the cross-country skiing, from the village towards Pederü and many others opportunities to practice winter activities.
